As usuall, this is part true, and part perception.

One reason you see ragers going after non-mages is because mages tend to sit in inaccessible places, ie. guilds, while the other warriors/thieves etc.. guids are open to them. They don't allways have people on who can break open guilds.

Second, I find it hillarious what some people's definition of a 'fair' fight is. You get lvl 30 conjies who come with elemental and archon and want to go one on one. Then they bitch when someone drives their archon out/sleeps the archon.. whatever. Same with necros who come with golem+ghoul+zombies.. yes, let's have a 'fair' fight..

Third, the people who seem to whine the most about 'fair' fight are usually the people who come at ragers in groups a lot. Then, when they're alone and get smeared by 2-3 ragers they suddenly get annoyed. What's the difference between 2 masters grouped, and 2 masters in the same zone. Not really much, especially since you know they'll jump in to help each other. In addition, what I fine particularly laughable is the master who comes upon 3 ragers grouped, attacks them, get's smeared in 2 rounds through assist and then has the audacity to accuse them of having no honor.

Now, none of this hides the facts that there are some ragers who blatantly and flagrantly ignore the spirit of the rules. However, in my humble opinion, most of the claims are BS. If you're looking for an excuse to have an easy fight with a rager, the tablet isn't going to give it to you.
