I love the idea of ranged weapons, but we have to think about this realistically(as far as CF is concerned.) There is no set distance between rooms. As in moving from 1 room to the next isnt set at traveling a set distance i.e. 100 feet.

Some rooms are quite small (Kobold warrens) and some are huge (Aryth Ocean). So in some rooms throwing a spear to the next room would be almost like hurling it thousands of yards.

I do think, however, that this could be allowed in certain areas, as in buildings, towns, ect. But most of the outdoor areas are huge.

Good idea, though it probably will never happen.
