Well, when I play a rager, if I EVER catch anyone using magic in any way, I attack them unless they came to me because I called them. Then it would be dishonorable to call them to me, and then attack them, so I just tell them to leave before I do attack. If they choose not to leave, then that's their fault. I never ask a mage to help me in anyway, except to coax some info out of them that I could use to kill them. If the sylvans want to help defend the giant, then they're welcome to, though I won't ask them to. However, if I know they are going to come defend, I tell them not to bring any mage or use magic in any way to defend it. If they do use magic, and one of them is in my range, I tell them to leave before I kill them. Again, if they don't that's thier fault. I've gone to help the sylvans either raid or defend a couple times, but anytime I see magic being used to do it, I leave, or attack the magic user. I know that there are at least a few others of Battle who do the same thing. Unfortunately, not enough do. What annoys me the most about this continuing argument is the fact that most everyone generalizes for the enitre cabal, when that's not at all true. There are some dumbasses who get in and give everyone else a bad rep. But the number of those dumbasses is decreasing. Not ALL Battleragers gang-bang, not ALL ragers are hypocricical when it comes to magic, not ALL ragers are mindless pk'ers. There are SOME but only those few are the ones who ever get brought out on here. No one ever bothers posting about rager behaving like they should, or being roleplayed well. Just about all that ever comes out on here is the bitching and moaning from people who get their asses handed to them by a rager, or sometimes someone who just claims to be a rager or is merely percieved as a rager. I've met a few characters on this mud who claim they are a rager/rager wannabe who go around killing people (gang-banging and single combat), who have no intent on ever actually becoming a rager, and use magic whenever they feel like it. There are not many types like that, but there are some. Just because you get gang-banged by three non-mage non-priest class, doesn't mean that they are ragers.
