One thing you have to keep in mind when you
decide to play on any PK mud is that there
is dying and killing is a way of life there.
The immortals never have, and never will
guarantee your safety anywhere in Thera.
Hunting and being hunted is just part of the
game. Guilds have, of course, been provided
to make being in a town a little safer even
if a) No Arbiter is around or, b) You are
facing a particularly skillful thief. I've
always been in favor of the implementation of
some sort of Arbiter power to either detect
theft or identify who the previous owner of
an item might have been.
