Something might actually come of the discussion we had on the log board. Sebeok seems genuinely concerned in one of the posts anyway.
I don't pretend to be a GREAT writer by any stretch of the imagination. I read back over what I've posted and I see that I spelled "plague" with a "q" and left an "m" off of the word "them" and I realize that I need to slow down a little when I post.
That's really all you need to do, instead of rattling off post after post after post that say a bunch of little things spend 5 minutes or so constructing a really good one. I for one enjoy reading your contributions, even if they are "sophomoric", to use your word, but they get the point across.
I suck so bad at pk'ing that I do everything I can not to give people additional reason to gun for me, so I try to keep my posts eloquently stated and not to terribly inflammatory. You sound like you might want to do the same, so just tone it down a little eh :)
