If you run a halfling ap you are going to
be a walking meatball-if you want to run an
ap at least try to work with vulnerabilities
you can counter against- For example you might want to try a fire if you think you
find out how to resist cold...fire giant ap's
are really nice but the only ones I've kept
alive in the mid ranks were all perfectly
trained (you may not like the 15 int for this, it takes experience to know how to spread those practice sessions around) and
they carried tons of supplies (enlarge roots, trans potions, return potions, fly potions, etc, etc, etc)... The human really
is the way to go... I don't know why I dont'
see many human ap's out there-the exp penalty
won't hurt much and you might actually sleep
someone now and then....*shrug* I've run two
duergar ap's only because I hate thieves and
assassins but in the higher levels your
vulnerabilities will haunt you mad, and again
you are putting up with a pretty high exp
penalty. My advice would be to go human, and perfect shield block, parry, blind, and as many weapons as you can find the patience
for before ranking to 11--STAY AWAY FROM WARRIORS until you really get the hang of
using an ap and carry all the usefull potions
and pills you can find....then find some more.
