Dunno how long i've been playing cf for, but i know i have played it for a dam long time.
I think what your talking about is right.
I've mentioned many times on the mirc that xp costs are all fucked up.
Earlier today i was commenting on the fact shamans cost 0 xp yet a paladin costs 400 xp
now yes they are different, but if you ask me a shaman has way more kickarse shit than a paladin does.
Someone said that the classes that cost Xp are the ones that are dual or triple class bound
well id like to point out that a shaman is a heal warrior

My solution to this would be all classes cost no xp pen.
I would also like to say why do any races have xp pens considering they all have +'s and minuses+
paying 500 xp for a fire giant is plain sick
all they get is giant resist. And their 15 int is more of a handy cap than the vuln cold.
if anything i can see a giant being cheaper than some of the other classes.
and gnomes, damit they should have 500 xp pen
25 wis is sick, and so is 23 int.
6 pracs a level means a gnome warrior can have WAY more hps and a fire giant warrior.
which i think is silly.

Mages are a class that always is powerfull nakid, (cause of their spells) yet they have no xp pen at all. Mages as everyone says sucks at low levels and rock at high levels, which is quiet true, and yet their xp pen is the lowest on the mud... Weird the shitty classes cost more than the more powerfull classes.
a stock giant warrior 500 more than a human necro. That is fucked up.
my two cents on xp pens.

And thank god someone else hates the endless stat rolling, yes i know how you feel when you sit there for hours on end waiting for semi decent stats to be rolled. I've wasted weeks trying to get stats rolled. cf should do as you say and give set stats for each race.
