I was eavesdropping on Bliscass et al. as they raided the master's tower. Jythriadocorwhateverthehellhisnameis died, then Bliscass died. I believe Minalcar proceeded to get the orb which was then given to Bliscass, who was still a ghost, to take back to the village.

I think it's a pretty cheesy way to ensure that your work is successful to give the cabal item to a ghost. Palimar likely could've killed who ever had the orb and then returned it to the Tower.

I don't think ghosts should be able to touch cabal items, since they can't kill outer guardians.
