Start a character named Oriendathatius O'Calliadamfadier. He could propose a new plan of measuring time based on the life cycle of the galadonian dung beetle. 1 day would be the average life of the beetle. Seeing as his name is really hard to pronounce, his timing system could be known as "OOC Time":

This would make rp'ing much easier for bad rp'ers, as they would not have to change anything.
