You can't deny the fact that people have experienced
what amounts to mindless little fucking children who
will only roleplay when they meet an elven woman who
likes to emote giggles, has a typical barbie doll desc
with pointed ears, and likes to pinch their ass. Of
course this has to do with being horny and repressed.
I've tried to roleplay with people only to have them tell
me to go fuck myself, throw rl racial slurs at me, and
claim they know my sexual preference, and this isn't even
during or after a pk?
There really is a small number of people who truly enjoy
the rp aspect. I'm not talking about people who abandon
the pk stuff altogether. This is why characters like Istendil,
or Thror tend to stand out above the rest, and why we are
so quick to give them props.
Myself? I tend to gravitate to the Milias, the Khiravns,
the Chaldaies, the Pikels, the Quinthens... because I know
if I'm standing against them or with them, I'll get a chance
for a quality interaction. It is the same reason I crave
imm interaction as well. I just don't get it from the majority
of the people that play. Sometimes that sucks.
