If your reason is that you can power rank. Well you can power rank a lot of other characters too. If your neutral it is really easy to power rank. You don't have to choose who you rank with at all. However since I tend to roleplay, I try not to power rank and spend time interacting with people rather than haste me, slow me, ok let me sleep.
I also disagree I believe a bard is much harder to play than a warrior or thief. You may have more options with a bard but if you don't know when to do what, your going to die. And that's a fact, bards don't hit worth beans. If anybody had half a brain and manage to deafen a bard, he is dead. Sure he is a good tank but to stand in a battle when you can't sing, your have to flee or die.
I'm sorry none of this makes much sense probably but Bards are not the easiest characters to play. If I was a thief and saw a mage coming on the eastern I'd sit there and spam bl name and that's about it.
