Well, my time to depart has come. I lived a long and interesting life, though I
wasn't even old at the end of it. I had much fun in the middle of Calessin's
life, but right now I cannot support him well enough to stay in the role.
Real life and CF don't like each other, and one fault can be fatal. Just
remember this, and you will be fine.
I tried to play a strong defender rather than a bloodthirsty killer. My
relations with non-masters were based mainly on the usefulness of this person
for the good of the Tower. I tried to propose a peace when I felt it would
serve the Tower well, but I wasn't kind to those who tried to use the Tower as
a tool for their goals. I tried to pay close attention to the interviews.
Sometimes I was too harsh, but I never said "no" to the applicant, though it
was hard sometimes. It is up to you to decide have I succeed or not. Alas,
I cannot remember everybody I knew and interacted, but I'd like to mention the
following persons:
Masters: the Tower was my family. My role was to protect, teach and keep an eye
on it. I really liked the Tower of the past, but I see certain conspiracy in
what is becoming of it: elite cabal is turning into the clone of Arcane sect.
Leaders: Diarmuid, thank you for inducting me, but a death due to the ganbang
surely isn't a reason to delete. Your interviews were awful. Oroxazrian, you
were doing very well, but you should have value your life much more. Kudzurian,
you were an awful leader and quite unskilled master. I still wonder why you
were chosen. Manshoon, I met you only twice, but the scrolls from you ensured
me that you were an excellent leader. Keep up the good work!
Masters: Kilgaren, you were my best and most reliable friend. Together we were
almost unstoppable. A shame you refused to lead the Tower. Zomerseis, you were
doing an excellent work. Just don't value your gear so much and you'll be fine :)
Uli, my teacher, the oldest Master, take a time to reach your final rank.
Aristelle, I enjoy to remember the time we spent together. Ismail, at first I
despised you for your ignorance and lack of knowledge, but your grew up and
learned. Well done. Nallokin, our exploration trips were very interesting.
Balur, you were a great friend. I liked your roleplaying very much. Shannagen,
you were good, though a bit too arrogant. Mithadris, it was fun to interact
with you. Dyerwaen, you show much promise, I'd like to see you as a new Lord
Adept. Omniera, you were doing great, shame you deleted so fast. Zandorix,
you also were a good master.
Entropy: Quitmir, you were excellent entropist. Jagaub, you were also nice to
interact with. Zorszaul, you are admirable, impressive but too predictable and
power-hungry to be named true entropist.
Battle: my applauds to Talice, Kastellyn and Dhaevor. Cethern, Veshiko, Gelkof
and Picapleitos also deserve to be named. The rest of you looked like a
faceless mass to me - it was very hard to differ one rager from another.
Sylvans: the whole cabal of worthless greedy power-hungry bastards who don't
care about forest protection at all. Tiera and Sadrach were the nice exceptions,
though. Kudos to both of them.
Empire: strange and contradictive cabal. Quinthen and Trezar, you were good
allies. I tried to avoid a cooperation with other imperials. Osdaron and
Graitel, you were a powerful combo, regardless of which side you were on.
Others: Yagar and Palan, you were strong allies. Without your help I couldn't
have raised the Tower from ashes, when I was alone against 7-8 hero ragers each
time I logged in. It was a real pleasure to see how they leave Thera after we
kill a couple of them, and to see many Master applicants right after that.
Svyatopolk, it was fun to travel with you. Marroquin, you were greedy but funny.
Please feel free to express your opinions about Calessin, either in personal
messages (see e-mail above), or here on forum. I'll be very pleased to read it.
I will probably return to extensive playing later, but I need to have a break
now. See you in fields.
Boris.
