> Well, I pretty much read all the posts from my log I posted. Got some good responces and some "fuck you whiner!" How can things change if you do not whine about it :). Look at nightgaunts.
Just so you know... things DO NOT change because people whine in the forum or in the game. They change if over time power-balances shift significantly due to new factors or if playtesting indicates an imbalance. NOT FROM WHINING!!!
If Ragers got revamped, its not because Rager lovers whined about their powers, its because mages had evolved in so many different ways over such a long time (Transmuters, Invokers, Necromancers all changed significantly, not to mention Conjurers entering the picture) that eventually it made sense to re-evaluate and change them.
New classes are always allowed a test-time and then are often tweaked (sometimes significantly) to allow for the fact that you can never fully test without playtesting. Adjustments are made with planning and observation and would occur in the exact same manner without the whining in any form, forum or otherwise.
NOTE: Reporting Bugs, wierd occurances, side-effects and such is not whining, that is useful and needed. Saying "X" is WAY TOO POWERFUL or WAY TOO WEAK is merely annoying to the people who spent months or years designing it.
