People said the same thing about Druids when they were revamped and lost bearform and birdform.
that change forced druids to either use their brains, or get all pissy becasue they lost they're easy way to pk.
Now I've no idea what they did to bard songs, cause I've never played a bard, but perhaps they had the same sort of thing in mind. It may just take some time to see the reasons behind this.
Despite all conspiracy theories and what not, the imms are not out to fuck over any particular class, I promise
