> Khiravn: Having something of an arch enemy made things considerably more interesting. We always had really close fights whenever it was just the two of us and though we must've fought thirty or so times, I don't believe either of us ever killed the other. You were one of the few lightwalkers that was ever willing to have an intelligent conversation with me (though I didn't have the opportunity as much as I would have liked).

It meant alot to me to have you around, also. And, given the fact that in each of those thirty times you withered me, you could count it as a victory. If I were honest, I'd have to say I learned more than a few things from you in a PK, and, roleplaying wise, I probably spent more time with you than any other character (including the times I was alone and trying to stalk Shin, getting to know him through his usual haunts). Anyway, there's no adequate way to say goodbye except that I meant what I said a while ago: That I couldn't have wished for a better way for Khiravn to die of old age than fighting you in the Temple.

I really think that this sort of thing does a lot to cheapen the entire experience; it makes immersion in the game much more difficult/superficial. I had never really been on IRC until recently. The first time I logged on, three people asked me about characters I'd played in the past, and two of them had 'guessed' correctly. Within about ten minutes, the identities of two other current chars had been (without my wish or consent) revealed to me. Anyways, this is turning into a rant where I meant it to be a goodbye note.

That being said, I really would have liked to know who else you played (once either of us died) out of curiousity. I probably never grouped with any of them (given your penchant for evils and mine for goods, but, sure, I'm curious). Take care of yourself.
