The thing is...Look at what it takes to imm on any well established mud...especially Cf.
1) Above average intelligence.
2) Love of Mudding
3) Great RP.
4) Good Knowledge.
Now what can I asume about the Imm staff in general? That they all are brimming with their own Ideas. Their own brainchildren if you will.
Please realize that there is a limited number of hours it is humanly possible to sit at a computer and Mud. Please also realize that we currently have what...20 active Imms? All with their own personal, and collective Ideas of what to do to make the mud better...All having at least some emotional and time investment into these Ideas.
Please realize that there is not even enough time to implement all of THEIR OWN original ideas.
That being said....what chance do you think there is of them dropping something they have time and emotion invested in, to instead work on someone elses idea out of the blue....pretty slim if you ask me.
I can see how if a Mud was just starting out, and they didn't have a full staff that comes out with Ideas constantly, they might take suggestions. But on cf the current imms are BRIMMING with ideas just waiting in the cues for a chance to be put in.
Not to try to dishearten you, but Even if you were to become a Heroimm tomorrow, there is a small chance that any of your "bright" ideas would go in anytime soon. Aside from some blazing exceptions(Zul, Astein to name a few) most heroimms are at the 51/52 rank for quite some time...and at those ranks in most muds(I do not know about cf specifically, but I know from past experience) the Heroimms and rank 52 imms are mostly there to help impliment the Other's ideas, do the grunt work. Just in like any organization, be it Military, Buisiness or social, the entry level people usually do not have much input on policy.
Now look at how much input on policy OUTSIDERS have on these organizations...precious little.
Hope this helps.
