Master call lightning and control weather.
Before you fight, make it stormy and try to save the lightning for when you make them turn tail.. then ZAP!! you may kill 'em with a bolt.

I've got it narrowed sown to a Human or a Cloud Giant. Humans are great because there is that low exp cure, they have good int so learning isn't a bitch, not to mention they have ok dex for dodgeing. I believe thier str can be 23 so that's good, but they cannot weild two handed weapons like those nifty axes.
