I'll try to make a couple of valid points but
for the most part I try to stay out of these
forums due to many assumptions and half-sided
experiences. Thror did drop the -parity-
against mages issue because at the time it
was needed. Ragers did not have the three
factions of warfare that they do now and it
became increasingly difficult to use any
strategic means to kill a mage or the Master/
Empire groups that would hunt villagers with
a passion. It was time. Time for a change
with BattleRagers, time for a village revamp,
time to give those 'die hard' ragers some
form of inspiration to continue con-dying for
a cause. Try to look at this from a role-
playing perspective. Look at anything from
CF in this manner and you will come to
understand that it is practical that any
'barbarian, hater of magic' would not stand
by and yell from a distance 'He's all yers!'
This is how Thror felt and reacted to the
situation.

Each leader should try to leave behind some
legacy. Thror tried this and of course this
could be and was abused. Takashimi and
Dhaevor countered this by bringing back
parity, which was more realistic with the
new rager powers.

I do tend to have a problem with Ragers that
do not at least try to enlighten a foe. And
I mean by words, not the blade. More of a
challenge and roleplay are brought about by
explaining the reason magic is 'tainted, or
mages wicked, betrayers, etc,' and of course
I see no Roleplaying angle at gang-banging
any warrior class outside of the parameters
of warfare.

Ragers level 30 and below should have no
reason to be unable to kill a mage solo. On
the same note, look at how many 'gang-bangs'
occur upon ragers. For the most part, they
are needed on a bloodthirsted Rager, but not
on scouts and defenders. If you come with
a pack of six or seven, remember the cry
of my own rage-inspired words 'Bring de War!'

Ragers con-die often. It is a part of life
that you deal with as a BattleRager. The
new cabal skills offer three things that
prolong this...

- A newfound ability to explore.

#Kudos to Dhaevor on the successful venture
into Hell.

- New perameters in tactical warfare.

# Sorry but now an invoker has to -think-
about how to kill a thirsted rager, other
than sit at the giant spamming geyser.

- A means to fight off the hordes and prolong
the inevitable con-death.

# Egads! The Pillar!

I won't exploit each faction of warfare, but
they all have weaknesses and given the
lack of the head, your dealing with a group
of warriors with no means of protecting
themselves. No potions, no sanctuary, no
shields just tooth and nail to get it back.

Takashimi did well in explaining things, I
honestly have no more need to elaborate, but
keep in mind that if Ragers were overpowered
something would be done about it. Also
keep in mind that most of you are just
experiencing things from one side. Maybe
you are not using the right tactics, or
exploiting the weakness of each faction.
Maybe your frustrated that you don't find
ragers the punching bags they used to be.
For the most part, this is another pendulum
swing, in which, the presence of leadership
inspires the presence of cabal members.
Take it in stride and enjoy the slight
shift in power, it's bound to change.
