A) I doubt it. If you found yourself compelled to write all the time, dependent on it, then yes, you are. But I hardly think you fall under that. You don't seem to thing my comparison between CF and a drug stands. Well, either you don't know how much time some CF'ers spend playing CF or your views on addiction differ from mine. Hardcore CF'ers *are* dependent on their 'CF fix'. This classifies as an addiction and is highly related to the drug comparison. Instead of stealing money to buy drugs, they miss lectures, spend all their weekends glues to the computer screen, deprive themselves of sleep, sometimes MUD'ing 18+ hours a day. The life of a drug addict is abnormal, just the same as the life of a CF addict is abnormal. Both are unhealthy.
B) Writing unhealthy? Certainly not. Coupled with writing is reading. Reading is very important. Most CF'ers don't read, bar descriptions and notes posted to their Cabals. The average vocabulary and grammar on CF is terribly low. That is because they are conditioned into saying 'U wan 2 gr?' or 'Fu#k you, y you kill me a@shole?'.
Please don't take CF for social environment. It isn't. It is you playing a role you made out against/with others in their role. Personally, I don't care how much you or anyone else plays CF, I don't know you or them. My intentions are to let people know that their lives are not being lived to their potential if they continue to play X amount of hours of CF a day.
One thing I'd like to state: Were I a writer, spending most of my time indoors, at a desk, or labratory space, the *last* thing I'd be doing with my free time is spending more time at a desk. Sport is healthy and can never be played in excess. Not all people are 'sporty', fine. It is still healthy though.
