Hmmm................................ :)

Well, firewalls are very different. Since you
can acces www, your company has a proxy for
http. If it has proxy for telnet, you will
be able to play CF. If its proxy forwards
telnet port 6667 to one of dalnet servers
(which I doubt very much) you will be able
to chat on irc. Dalnet used to have telnet
client but it is now down and probably forever.

As you didn't specify what OS you use, I will
try to guess.

Ok, first you have to find out how your proxy
works. Try to find proxy setting in your browser
preferences, probably the host name is there
(if not, then your proxy is transparent probably
and I dunno how to deal with it).
If you found the host name, try to telnet to it,
usually http proxy and telnet proxy work on
the same lab comp. If it worked and you see
something like:

Trying 192.168.3.2...
Connected to tretyak.
Escape character is '^]'.
tretyak telnet proxy (Version V2.1) ready:
tn-gw->

then type in "open carrionfields.org 9999" and
you are there.
If it did not work, you will probably have
to actually work at work, heh.
