Perhaps I've just had good luck, but as a hero warrior, I've done very well against them. Nightgaunts are a joke to me(only a threat if I have been severely(sp?) hurt which would be my fault anyways if summoned), I also fought one with an elemental/archon...nothing overpowered. Of course, overpowered to me might mean something different than what you perceive as overpowered(my perception is right).

P.S. Paranthesis inside Paranthesis, does anyone know if that's allowed ?
