Asihara's forum posts have gotten out of control.

1. He looks terrible from what you read here.

2. And, if you are fighting him from an opposing cabal, he looks terrible, also.

For 2., realistically, almost *everyone* looks terrible roleplaying wise when your interaction is limited to fighting them. Before I started talking to him (as Khiravn), Shinkoujinei looked like some newbie-spam-killer, and Xeren and the Masters seemed like one dimensional delusional elites (more than one of which threatened to con die me). Actually, with almost all of my chars Masters seemed like a group of people that whined and spammed you with tells about how you are "so dead, now the *whole* tower will kill you over and over" - people who generally broke character when you killed them. Until you starting interacting with them outside of killing each other and realize there is depth on both sides. If you have had interaction with Asihara outside of fighting against him, you'll find he is not so terrible a roleplayer. The same goes for Culwch, who was good, also, and all the warders in general.

3. Sylvan is not easy to get into. Who is your Sylvan char, Mr. Someone? If it is so damned easy, why don't you have your sylvan invoker right now? Because it is not so easy. Because it is easier to complain about how easy something is than to do it yourself. I'm sure deep down in the back of your mind you realize it would be a challenge.

As for 1., Asihara's posts being terrible, well, the player of Asihara should probably think before he posts.
