Duo dimension is really nice. There are only
a couple of ways for players to see through
it. It makes it very easy to slip past 99%
of your enemies. You can regenerate while duo
as well which in a pinch is VERY NICE.
If you are a drow or elf, duo allows you to be
quite effective sneaking up on people as well as
doing some snooping when the need arises. If you
haven't been fogged, you can slip in and out of
tough situations.. something I did quite a bit.
When
hold works you are almost guaranteed to get
the kill if you've brought the right firepower.
Depending on the minor focus you've chosen, you
can kill a variety of mobs when the need to re-equip
with some basics arises.
Drawbacks are the lag coming out of duo, in shapeshifting
and using enliven, and some problems with hold working (but
that has been my experience.. I can't speak for others).
Arcane transmuters are great in terms of being a
support class. I enjoyed being one despite some of the
drawbacks, but then again each class has them.
Of course depending on cabal afilliations some of these
change a bit.
