My first hero was a half-elf trannie. Low exp penalty, iron vuln hurts though. Int 24, wis 21 give nice mana, and just that bit faster to practice than human. My both trannies have been shifters. One air and one offense. Air major is nifty for clean out kills, but trust me it get's boring as hell, especially when as an imperial wasn't able to attack in town. Offense is nifty, and water is cool for ranking purposes and stuff.
