I agree with the above... But there are lots of reasons I like it. Grouping opportunities, nice places to practice (for mages at least), chances with auctions/sales/etc, pits/corpses to loot. There are some others, but I prefer going to town when I'm not trying to rank. I enjoy a place with lots of people rather than sitting by myself somewhere.
