As a mage, or a clerical class for that matter, I NEVER choose galadon. I personally like the saftey the out of the way towns (Bryn Shandar, Arkham, Seantryn Modan, Akan) provide, and once I get word of recall....I'm set. As a warrior, I think choices are somewhat more limited...Tar Valon is my favorite non-evil town....It has all (or most) of the guilds and is never TOO highly populated. Ofcol is my arbiter and Dawn hometown (obvious Reason being proximity of cabals). Well, those are my seven cents, for what it's worth.
