A friend sent me a part of the log with you in it. I was thinking to myself "hmm..bet he gets anathemed." Of course I have no idea what question you answered wrong because I only saw tidbits of it. But in truth I almost agree with your statement of punishing the higher ups for your lack of knowledge. To me the one that oathed you should have gotten the axe for not taking the time or effort to explain to you what you needed to know.
Now, the reason why I said almost is that there is a nice place at the Inn of the eternal star called the Lyceum that you could have gone to for information....
You know you should just start over (not exactly fun especially with mages) if you really want to try the Empire. I mean do not let that put a bad taste in your mouth--you actually have to get in and then get axed to get the full experience..you only got a little taste (j.k).
---oh and you other people should learn to read...sort of hard to check the palace out for helpful info when ya cant even get in there--
