OK, can anyone tell me how Empire even has a chance now? When the cabal that is designed to be the easiest to get into has fewer interviewing leaders than Battle does....
Also, yes there's been a lot of complaining about the number of anathema and counters to that saying, in essence, "They're the weak culled from the strong".
Isn't it better for the Empire to have a stupid oathed citizen than an anathema? I mean, if you've got someone who you know is stupid and won't last long in Empire, why not just keep them on a a citizen?
That way, from an evil standpoint, you've got the "elites" (inducted citizens) ruling over the "underclass" (oathed morons and others) whom you can still use, tax, and make raid for fear of anathematization.
I think it makes more sence to have a serf you can use than an enemy. Evil doesn't have to be self-destructive.
Just a though.
