Here's where I vehemently disagree. Cabals should be for the well roleplayed. The interview process for most cabals should be a trial, even for an experienced player who has played a member of that Cabal already. It should force players to define their role clearly, and show some dedication.

So now you're too good for quests? If you're such a "good" player, I'm sure you can accomplish them quickly. Again, knowing the game is not a "free pass" into any cabal/tattoo/whatever.

I agree. Dhaevor was an excellent leader, however, and from what I have seen, few of the current Ragers are like the idiots of this fall/early winter. (There's another reason that good players may have flocked to Dhaevor, but it's been beaten to death already.) He left Battle in a very strong position, and any cabal with over a dozen competent heroes is going to do what they please with other cabal items. It also has the freedom to interview more easily, and press their advantage as needed.
That being said, certain ragers only seem to show when two or three others are already on. You know who you are.
Want to hurt Battle? Break up their alliance with Sylvan. Plenty of IC ways to make a stab at it, from either side.
