A while back, I had a young Master wannabe. I was on with him about four hourse every night, for 2 weeks straight. All of this time was spent waiting, while you, or Viscrinth told me "I'll be with you in a moment." I would sit there, all night, practicing spells, and not sleeping, ever. After 2 hours of waiting, I would make a point to remind you or Viscrinth about me, at which point I was told to "be patient, young one" or something along those lines. Only to keep typing 'who' and not see you, and ask another master about you, and have him say to me, "oh, he left about 30 elvish minutes ago"
I probably sat there, waiting to be interviewed for well over 20 hours of real time, assuming at any point, that I was about to be spoken to. It fucking pissed me off. If you are going to make someone wait, at least tell them how long they will be waiting, not use generalities, then criticize their lack of patience... It made me hate that character, and sick of the Masters. He was rank 19 with 14 spells perfected, yet no one would talk to him. I for one didn't enjoy sitting there, waisting my time, just because you didn't want to be specific about how long the wait was going to be.

> Let's talk about applicants. Should we talk about the ones that are too fucking lazy to practice spells? Okay well how can I fix that? Oh I know I no longer ask how many spells you have perfected. Well what about the ones that are too stupid or lazy to do a quest that pertains to magic? Guess I could take away those quest. Hmm.. Let's see. Well damn what else can I do? All I require of my applicants is that they spend enough time in the realms to find a hero or a spectre to recomend them and that really isn't that hard. For those that have been through my interviews all I call for is you can half-ass role play and show some intelligance. When you spend 3 out of the 4 hours playing trying to keep a part of your being safe then yes, it makes it a bit hard to do interviews. If you lack the dedication and patience to wait then I don't think you have what it takes to be in the tower. No, I am not the best leader-character to ever fill the shows of head of the tower. No, I am not an elitist or always right. I do however feel that I do what I can for the tower and I won't do 10 minute mass inductions just to fill the tower's quota. If that is what you are looking for try out for empire. If you have about an hour to spare and wish to try out for the tower then step right up.
