There are times when people are looking a little hard to post a name that they can find the tiniest problem with on the board so that they can achieve.. I don't know, a little popularity on Dio's Forums for all of 5 minutes. I have never heard of a town named Grinnel, Iowa, and if I did, you can be sure I wouldn't pick the name.

I like to keep the names I pick short and simple, 3 syllables at most, and nothing f*cked up. If you pick a word that only has 2 syllables, as I did, its bound to bear some similarity to some proper noun somewhere in the world, be it a fictional character, town, or the name of some rinky-dink motel a mile down from some random person's house. If you're going to complain about names, complain about the ones that you can't even get off your tongue, much less type in a pk/tell situation.

I oppose these type of postings because they are nothing more than an individual trying to give their handle a moment of fame by saying, "Oooh! Oooh! I saw this one first! I can relate this name to something in real life! I can be.. FUNNY!"

If a name is that out of line, pray to the immortals and let them deal with it. Stop cluttering the forum with little "clever" tidbits such as this to boost your ego.
