Whuzza? How do you figure that imm's anathing is ooc? If you really want me to respond to this...I will, but not at the moment, since I find that ridiculous.

I'm glad you like me, but you're misinterpeting what I'm saying. I'm not saying that anyone is too stupid to play a non cookie cutter....I'm just saying that it's the cookie cutters that have anything to fear from being anath'd by immortals. If you want to be original for the love of god...do so, and put it in your role....if an immortal sees something in your role that makes you an oddball Imperial but you're being true to your role and true to the rules of Empire...woo-hoo!! Sect leader here you come.

> Bad bad bad, Shokai. I like you, too, but you're off in this case. The imms should enforce *roleplaying* in general, never, ever ever ever a certain TYPE of roleplay.
Uhmm...so you're saying that Bolt, Thror, Holtz, or Kast telling a rager to go stuff it because they saw him with potions in his inventory is bad on our part? I know I'm stretching your example...but you see my point? Imperial rules are just that, and if you want to bend or break them...be damned sure you have a role that backs it up, and even then it may not be enough.

Check around the arcanas, Shokai, you'll find at least one with a less-than-pure-evil role fleshed out. Plus, any idget knows that 'evils helping evils' really is for the better good of the cabal... so long as they abide by the strict legalities of the laws and avoid being caught, no immortal big brother should be hovering around saying whether or not an imperial is evil enough. If the imperial contributes to the Empire enough to please the mortals, then his role is valid, and none of the immortals' business.

Okay...I hate to be this blunt, but I'm playing the bullshit card here. We have cabal immortals to enforce cabal policy, and to keep the cabals gliding along the rails that we've built for them. Now before you misinterpet this...what I mean is not that we have designated places that they're all headed...but we do have ideas of what direction we want them to go into. Would you argue with Selric or Raisa about them enforcing Dawn policy? Pico about Entropy? BoltThower, Holtzendorff, Thror, or Kastellyn about Battle? Nepenthe about Masters? I think not...why? Well because they enforce cabal policy...just like the Imperial Immortals....they just have a different policy.

A better use for their time would be writing quests to encourage what they perceive as better imperial roleplaying, or thinking up code to favor that roleplay, or playing a mortal and demonstrating that roleplay, or useing mobs to gently pull threads to shape the cabal with mortal aid.

With the exception of the coding...this is all done. You may not realise it, but it is.

> This pound-pound-pound 'sharing information, anath' shit makes the game less fun and less versatile. It is not the immortals' place to do these things. I have at least three specific instances of anath's in my mind that were petty, anti-Empire, and did nothing but discourage me from playing my imperial. If they'd been done by a mortal, I would give less than a shit... that's a mortal leader's job and right. An imm has better things to do, as I've listed.

Don't take this wrong but this line 'An imm has better things to do..." makes me want to throttle you. Do you realise how aggravating that sounds? If you check the forum a while back...people were screaming for imm's to anath people, and now you bitch because 'we have better things to do'...on behalf of the immortals of Empire....I say 'bite me'. Yes it is the mortal leaders perogative...and if they don't do it, quality control goes back to the immortal of the cabal....I'm probably not making friends with this post, but hey...I'm not always going to agree with people. Sorry....but this is how I see it, kids.
