This is the main problem I have with the role command, it also lets immortals know who to watch. If I were to roll up an empire who was a spy for the sylvans, I sure wouldn't want Zulghinlour knowing that without having to put forth the effort to actually catch me. I like the role command, but also see some cons to it. If I were to roll up that empire who was a spy for sylvan, you can bet that would be purposefully left out of my role.

Okay, lemme see if I can clear this up. When we read something like this in someone's role...we don't think 'oh yeah! Well, I'l show him that he can't get away with it' Instead...when we do see them meet someone in some quiet remote area and start being traitorous..instead of jumping on the kill button (in some cases<-I want to make that abundantly clear) it would be seen as the character rp'ing within the role they've listed.
Think of it this way, putting something unique like that in your role, allows you a better chance of the immortals seeing what you're doing as part of your character, not as you the player trying to pull a fast one. I don't know how well a Sylvan spy would work, but I do know that even if they had it in thier role, yet didn't act the like the perfect citizen at all times when they could be seen, they'd be anath'd. Yet if they walked the tight-rope successfully, and were never obvious about what they were doing...I would imagine, that they'd probably stick around. *shrug* Does this help at all?
