Sanctuary/stone skin/shield/haste-slow/protection from evil-good/fly/enlarge-reduce even rejuvenation can be found.
Sure some of these are a bitch to find and one or two isn't that useful if you know the item that grants it.
But does it really add substance to this argument? Even with most of these in effect you will not simply walk over a berserker. It's mostly about skills and tactical advantage, using the right weapon spec in the right moment ... calculating how you might get him too loose his weapons. Lowering his dex/strength and how much will would be fatal for him etc etc.
