My friend has a shell account from his ISP, this allows us to connect to the shell account using the default telnet port (23), which is pretty much never blocked. The higher ones are normally the blocked out ones. Anyway, so you connect to the shell account, then type 'telnet carrionfields.org 9999' then it will connect for you. If you don't have a shell account, you can get a free one from this site, http://www.shellyeah.org/, but my friend said it was kind of wierd from there, so you may have to play around with it to get it working properly. I think he said it was different, and you had to use tiny fuge options (if your in zmud) because of the way they set it up, and you can't use the telnet command with their free service, but you can get their premium service for $5.00 per month. So, yeah.
Hope this helps a bit.
