Not really. Say you live in the United States. Among a group of your peers, would you want to ask who the president was? Now, granted, this wouldn't get you hunted for life, but you'd probably get laughed at. The Empire views itself as the sole government and rulers of Thera. Same principle. Somewhat unfair to newbies I guess, but maybe people should stop looking at Empire as newbie cabal?
