Sheesh, being lawful in empire means you should assume any imperial law you break is seen by an all-knowing god? Oh, but only if you're sphere deception and its in your role? That's like Darth Vader sensing a stormtrooper murdering another stormtrooper unseen and *poof* he's dead, or Zeus smiting every person that says "Damn Zeus," or maybe not, but still...
Imms will not interfere with cabal politics when they want to let a role be played out, as in spying or betrayal.
Imms will intercede in cabal matters when that role is unseen assassination.
Basically, this whole happy-anath thing draws attention to uncertain roles of imms.
Some say imms are omniscient. Christian God is omnifiscient, Pagan Greek gods were not.
Some say imms should not directly influence the mortal world, i.e., revealing locations of enemies, restoring their cabal in the middle of a raid, popping in and killing enemies themselves.
But, some say imms should influence cabal politics. Not just monitor, guide, or manage, but induct or kick out members.
Now, this is what I think the clear lines should be:
CF Imms are not omniscient, but they can play the role of spying on members, just like how Greek gods would assume mortal form to test Greek citizens.
CF Imms should guide cabal members. This means yelling at them, ordering them, or coaching them, whatever.
CF Imms should intercede in cabal politics in a role fitting that of a meddling pagan god, not "I see all, I am all"
CF Imms should come up with some consistent interaction between them, players, and character's roles.
Finally, imms should let an assassin get away with assassinating anyone unseen in a city protected by Imperial Law! He's an assassin for god's sake!
> I didn't think i'd get antha'ed since he just cut down a few centurions..but thats why..cause I killed a warder in town.
