I am not sure if it is different for rangers
who practice a particular spell, but Kaerk used
potions (and ragers knew this ), praticed and
used scrolls, and what not before
he was inducted into ragers after shunning magic. Then
again I joined battleragers when they were very weak
and had very few members even show up. I also had to
prove that I had given up magic and all its wrongdoings..
yada yada. This as before the role command was implemented,
so I believe it is easier to do now.
