All commands in CF, and any other mud/mush/etc,
will have a basic 'lag'. The reason for this
is so that people can't just spam out a million
emotes inside a second, either intentionally
or unintentionally (say the cat jumping on the
keyboard) spam out the whole mud and cause
everybody to lag while the mud tries to
handle the billion or so emotes this guy is
doing.
Some commands have more lag than others (like
combat skills/spells, etc), but everything,
even walking, talking, emoting, has that
same fractional second of lag.
