Which race would you suggest?

I listed all of my ideas, I would like yours too...
Felar => not strong enough for axes, slow learner, good hps
Arial => good dex wasted, no hps, fast learner, good mana
Human => good str, decent hps, can learn fast, can wield axes
Duergar => can see hidden, good hps, slow learning
Fire => resist, large size useful for bashing, slow learning, can dual wield axes

Also, would a duergar a-p be better off tripping or bashing?
