Just because a character is a rager...does that mean they ONLY fight mages? What if you are a militant lightwalking rager, and see a scarabite warrior just standing there....Or a militant evil rager, and see a dawnie just standing there...

Are they supposed to just say "oh, its ok, I havent seen them use magic, it doesnt matter that they are in a cabal with mages and that they have beliefs that are antithetical to mine, I am just going to let them stand there unmolested"

No.

Especially if they are a berserker...and actually roleplay the part of a berserker.

So next time you are just sitting in the open with ragers around...think to yourself "Is there a possibility that one of those ragers could really not like who/what I am/standfor" If the answer is yes, then I would propose talking, ask those ragers in the area in your range what their purposes are...if they do not say anything and move towards you, I would exit, stage anywhere. But in my experience, they will only refuse to talk with you if they have already decided to kill you (given this is most of the time...).
