Having had a couple paladins and a druid empowered, I have come to think that the whole "rank 10" thing has absolutely ZERO to do with empowerment.

It is a milestone in your chars life for pk reasons. And those reasons have nothing to do with Empowerment. One of my paladins got empowered at rank 4 (combination knowing my role backwards and forwards, lucky timing) and my druid got it around rank 12-13 I think.

The important thing is to not connect entering pk with empowerement. Start early. Start seeking it at around rank 4. Or earlier if you want to sleep alot when walking to most of the Shrines in CF.

But being rank 10 or rank 40, has nothing to do with becoming empowered. How you roleplay your role does. This includes NOT POWERRANKING while you are seeking empowerment. Ive met few people that could wow anyone with their rp while power ranking (god knows I am not one).
