I would definitely recommend being a warrior
scout and thought about rolling one up myself
but do not have the time to do so. Basically
my take on the critical hit vs deathblow.
Deathblow is nice for fighting warriors/mobs/fighting
classes and what not.
Critical hit is more geared towards fighting those
with wands, liches, invokers, and through sanctuary.
However, critical hit causes lag and is not automatic
which sucks since it can't be used as often as you
would like.
Hope this helps.
> I am a young polearm spec and have begun my training to enter the village. As a dwarven polearm spec, would I be able to become a scout, or is it only avialable to rangers and thieves?
> I personally see critical strike much more useful vrs. deathblow. No, I'm not on crack! I really don't care to much about useing it to fight anything other than mages, and shamans and such. I feel confident in my own abilities as a student of battle to handle any single other class without the use of deathblow. Not to mention Spellbane plus the ability to dodge area spells make a resisited polearm spec one bad mo-foe.
> So are Dwarves allowed to be scouts? and what is the take on critical strike vrs. deathblow. Besides it's not automatic and not useable effectivally agianst everyone. Is it comprable to deathblow damage wise though?
