1) Spellbane does not make your spells "useless". It has a certain chance to negate targeted spells, and cause the caster some damage. If a Berserker is using bloodthirst, it can reflect area spells as well. How well spellbane works seems to be related to things that affect saving throws: level differences, vulnerabilities, gear, affects, etc.

2) I have had no problems with spamming things in guilds. Don't "bot", however- it's against the rules, and will earn you a whooping. ("Botting" is using a client or other program to automate your actions.) In any case, there are a lot of places that are -much- safer than Galadon/NT/TV guilds.

3) Mages have done well against Battleragers before. Right now, there are a lot of Ragers around, and their enemies don't show up so often, so things are a little rough for mages. Do what I do: Avoid them. Pick groupmates carefully. Remember that there are places that many of them cannot go at all.

Scroll down the forum a page or two if you want to read more about it. It's a hot topic, but Rager power is overrated right now, in my opinion.

> i was recently thinking of creating an invoker when my friend tells me about the battlerager skill spellbound. I have just recently started to get back into cf after a long break. Anyways i was just wondering how a mage is supposed to survive when their own magic is turned against them...? How is it even fair when a warrior takes on a mage and his spells are useless. Also i was told about how pist the immortals get when people sit in their guilds spamming spells... what the hell else are they gonna do when some bloodlusted physco is out there?
