I haven't played a sylvan recently, but keep this in mind. After giving me the run around because she didn't feel the "storm" religion fit into the way of the grove, Hilaene went into hibernation, so to speak. I continued to roleplay (or at least tried to) and continued to speak to Lieutenants (Dyston and Arantomir) as well as other sylvans. Then one day, I'm in the FoN, and BAM, you have ben inducted into the Sylvan Warders (or whatever). Moral of the story: Keep roleplaying. Stay in character. If the Captain or Lieutenants aren't on, don't quit off and play your other char's. Stay on. Have fun, and roleplay your beliefs. The sylvan imms are pretty good at keeping their eyes on their pack, as well as their applicants.
