1) Belaran has five levels on me. Grummore has six. Curse is a much easier supp to save on than damnation. Redemption costs 50 mana and doesn't work that often. If you're at ALL familiar with shaman supplications, you'll know that landing a curse on someone with 5 levels on you is about as likely as Nepenthe being unvague in a post.
2) I was lagged out the ass right after I got held (this godawful interim ISP), and the dispel spammed by, and I didn't even notice I wasn't held anymore until I wimpied.
3) Again, Belaran has 5 levels on me, which is a huge, huge factor in shaman fights, so other than doing a surgical Grummore-strike there was really no way I was continuing to fight him. It takes most of my effort to beat him down when we fight solo. :P
So yes, I made the mistake of not seeing hold person dispelled when it flew by, but that's about all I don't like about my actions in this fight.
> Granted, Belaran chose some unwise battle tactics, but let's not overlook Aradan. Keeping Belaran fom recalling was good, but you should of cursed instead of damned. Shaman's can't cure that (I have no idea why) and from my experience, it succeeds more frequently. Wither was also a good choice (usually always is). You should have followed up with the strength disarm maledictions after you finished of Grummore. You know what they are. And, you should of been in better shape to finish the fight with Belaran. You probably could of finished Grummore off easier, and gave Belaran a pants check considering you let 6 or so rounds (minus the 2-3 round crushing hand lag) and 500+ hps go by without doing anything after the hold was dispelled. Yeah, I know it's far easier to pick through logs you can peruse at your own pace, so, I'll just say, good fight.

> Grummore: You're a second age character that's been around for years. There's no excuse for not having mastered hold person. But, then again, that would entail you actually playing that character for more than the 0.1262 hours you do a week.
