If Belaran is fighting a fellow Maran for
some reason (shove, whatever) and types his
command that makes him do that emote and
then commune blind, he tries to bring the
wrath of Shokai to blind his foe. How does
that make sense, roleplay-wise? Now, if
Belaran wants to have emotes as a prelude to
several of his communes, fine, but it isn't
"roleplay" IMHO.
This post doesn't reflect the opinions of the
imm-staff in general (in fact, I know of at
least two people that DO consider to be a
nice addition to roleplay...I disagree with
them).
The point?
Don't make an Ehren-Guard candidate that uses
triggers or aliases to try to roleplay for
your character. It puts an instant strike
against you in my book, and then you have to
work even HARDER to prove that you won't suck.
