I don't even know why i'm responding to this, but anyway. My char is a chaotic good storm giant shaman, and Maran. If you think what he did was wrong, you are mistaking him for some something else. Being good doesn't mean being a pacifist. He's not a healer, or a paladin. He is a shaman. He is a storm giant, not a nice, reasonable elf. Insulting the deity of a shaman is about as great an insult as you can make. Preachers don't have to be nice. I'll refer you to the midevil europian religious scene.
