I'd like to clarify something if I may. Takishimi is wrong about the departure of myself, Eueoniar, and Fayesheng. Dhaevor's only hand in us leaving the village, as Takashimi was at the time still the Leader; was causing us to be disgusted with the village. In short, we'd just raided and taken the codex. And while one of the other ragers was depositing the joke book in the throne, Eueoniar and myself were travelling to Highlord's keep to gather some gear for the younger ones who had fallen in the raid. While heading through galadon someone of the village asked if I could sing frightful fiend during combat. The premise being in a raid, if someone was fighting Quinthen if I could sing the song. My answer was yes, unless I was the one fighting him. Dhaevor, who I'm not sure if he was running so he didn't catch it all or if it was something else; leapt upon us for defying the credo of the tablet and began to chastize the entire village for being cowards and such. If you've read anything I've written you know I'm fond of satyre and I name myself the foul bastard not without reason. I took Dhaevor's overbearing attitude and reacted like a child since he was treating the entire village as one. And succeeded in getting his goat so to speak. This I didn't have any problem with because in my eyes he didn't know the facts and hadn't bothered to ask for a clarification about what was being said. In short, we gathered some gear. Returned to the village and formed a group of myself, Euoeniar, Julamock, and Fayesheng to hero Eueoniar and Julamock. While resting at the shrine, in runs Dhaevor thirsted and attacks us. None of us resisting or otherwise prepared to fight. In short he made short work of us. I was livid, since in my eyes any villager attacking a bard of the village is a joke since all of the songs a bard may sing have been adapted to aid his or her brothers. Julamock fell and never even had a hand in what had happened. Thror, an err in my eyes; supported Dhaevor and lauded him for slaying four os his brothers. If this is what the village had become I didn't want any part in it. So along with Fayesheng and Eueoniar I asked to leave the village. Dhaevor went on to become the leader and I can tell you though I have been many ragers in the past and love being in Battle, I refused to make one while he was the Leader. (This especially irked me because I generally prefer assassins and any of my assassins would have taken Dhaevor down without an effort.) But that's how the cookie crumbled. It still proves Tak's point. Even a misunderstanding with regards to talk of gangbanging can lead to drastic events within the village. There will be times when ferver and miscommunication cause one of those who ragers hunt to be beset upon by more than on rager, but likewise in most cases you will always see one if not both flee. I myself have taken on groups of enemies and while it's rarely heard about how 'that' rager was crazy enough to take on three or more opponents it tells you how one sided all of this childish berating is. For Battle life is War. If you cannot stomach the conflict then stay at the cooking fire and tell tall tales about how brave you are.
