First of all, you are not friendly, second I was trying to change the mud. It was basically blowing off some steam.

> The system is in place to make sure priests can actually roleplay the religions they are supposed to be drawing power from. If you don't like the system, suggest a better one. I have yet to hear one, and I prefer a time-consuming empowerment procedure to none at all.

Spare me your boring logic. Did you copy and paste this from other posts, cause I swear I read these same comments hundreds of times. Yes I can suggest a few other systems that would be much less boring than the curren. But this post is not about that at all, maybe I will start another thread. Unlike you, I was not posting a note to appear like the all-knowing, I speak for the immortals, and I am a VIP, kind of guy.

> I'm working on updating the Skills Search page so that doesn't need to be done. You can read all skill/spell/song helpfiles with any character, if you know the names, and the new Skill Search will have more accurate lists for every class.

Thank you for your hard work, and I am not being sarcastic. But until that happens, I will continue to do what I am doing. There was nothing wrong with it.

> This has happened to me as well. I accidentally closed my window, and quickly clicked everything to get back on, and *poof* no gear. I was forced to read the same helpfile. It was explained to me that people could otherise use this "accident" to cheat in some way. At that point I said to myself "Self, the IMM made their point. There's a pre-written helpfile for exactly this, so it must happen a lot. Let's not be an ass-face and berate the IMM further, and instead go and grab me some gear."

As far as I am concerned there was no point made. The only point I see being made is "We are too busy doing other things, and so we write a code that takes care of cheating. Oh and by the way, the code doesnt differentiate between those that ACTUALLY cheat from those that dont. Sorry eventhough we know this will happen, I guess we wont bother rewriting the code to be fair to everyone."

> > Well this is the second arrogant and rude immortal I have encountered so far in my short stay here.
>
>> Ask yourself "Is it a coincidence that people keep treating as if I am some sort of angry asshole?"

Sorry man, but assumption is the mother of all F-ups. Dont assume I was an angry asshole in any of these two situations. I will tell you what is the problem. Those two IMMs do not know when they are supposed to ROLEPLAY, and when they are supposed to ADMINISTER and ASSIST. If an Evil god rips me apart with arrogance, rudness, foul language or even physical harm to my character within the scope of roleplaying that I have no objection to that. But when you try to talk to an IMM Out Of Character, and he still acts like God's Gift to this mud, than that is unacceptable. People keep saying here on the forum "Give them a break, they are only human". That is fine, I do give them breaks all the time when they make wrong judgements or dicision regarding the roles they take in the game, but Out Of Character, that Guy, Girl, Man, Woman who has an Immortal character better damn well treat me with the same respect that I am treating him/her. No body is forcing them to do this. They can quit if they dont know how to deal with people Out of Character.
Again, I am generalizing, and I am sure there are exceptions among the immortals.

> If you don't want to generalize, don't. The vast majority of my IMM interactions have been positive, and the others were just indifferent.

Please do not speak for everyone here. Even if the MINORITY agree with me, you are still speaking for yourself. I have played elsewhere, and everytime someone mentioned CF, there was a complaint about IMMs. But that is irrelevant. I still came here and if that is truely the case, I will try as much as I can to have NOTHING to do with the IMMs.

> > Basically I am accused of CHEATING and PUNISHED for it by a freaking CODE.

>> No one has accused you of cheating. The helpfile even says why this can happen to well-intentioned people.

That is unacceptable to me.

> No, but there is the section of the rules that states "If an immortal imposes their will upon you, you must do it." The IMM gave you clear instructions, and explained what happened.

No Immortal imposed anything. WHat are you talking about? It is a CODE.

>
> Yep. You wouldn't want to rant and be an ingrate who bitches at the people who keep the game running.
>
I will bitch and rant because that is just me. I do not do it for no reason. Just like someone who bitches and rants about the people running this country. But then again, this was not a rant against the immortal staff. I did not mention anyone's name, it was only ONE immortal involved, and you just made my post way bigger than what it should have encompassed.

In the end, I appreciate your reply, eventhough you called me an asshole, I feel you could have said a lot worse stuff but you didnt.
